TC Hoogvliet and Deuce Again awarded the official Sportplus designation!

During the Sportplus meeting on June 2 at RiF010, handball club TC Hoogvliet and tennis club Deuce Again received the official Sportplus designation.

The title was extended for one, two, or four years by ten other sports clubs.

Sportplus associations are vital and safe sports organizations that stand out for their effectiveness in social entrepreneurship.

ETC knows how to get thousands of children moving with events like Zomerland Hoogvliet and offers adults low-threshold sports opportunities with initiatives such as 'Heel Hoogvliet in Beweging'. Deuce Again, located in the middle of Vreewijk, is a safe sports place for everyone. With attention to both mental and physical health, collaboration with schools, and a physical therapist, the association demonstrates how sports can truly make a difference 🎾🤾. "Sportsplus associations are important for Rotterdam," says Carola Nagy, program manager for Future-Proof Sports Associations and Sportsplus at Rotterdam Sportsupport: "They have impact when it comes to social entrepreneurship. From this, beautiful initiatives arise that are very valuable for Rotterdam and contribute to the future viability of the sports associations."
