Omar Rotterdam announced about Councilor Faouzi Achbar

Omar Rotterdam announced the captain's armband for councilor Faouzi Achbar

The start of the new school year at the Schoolsportvereniging (SSV) is focused on promoting the sports offerings. Our goal? To involve as many children as possible.

enthusiating for a membership with an affiliated sports provider! We are tackling this in various ways:

⚽ Flyer campaign at primary schools.
🏒 Communication via parent portals.
🥋 Organizing clinics with sports providers.
⚾ Class visits with our mascot Scottie.
⛸️ Being visible and approachable in the schoolyard for parents/caregivers.
🎾 And by organizing SSV parties in the neighborhood.

Yesterday was such an SSV party in Crooswijk. Over 120 children and 80 parents/caregivers came to Schuttersveld where they got to know various sports in an accessible way. From kickboxing and dancing to athletics and soccer. Several sports providers from the neighborhood, who are affiliated with the Schoolsportvereniging, were ready to conduct clinics, which excited the children for a trial lesson at their club. For the sports clubs, this has become a proven low-threshold way to reach a young audience and recruit new members. This makes it attractive and valuable for both children and sports providers!
