The problem is not your team, it is your leadership.

The problem is not your team, it’s your leadership.
The problem is not your team; it's your leadership.
Ah... that hits hard, doesn't it? But let's be honest.
How often do we hear leaders complaining about their team?
❌ "They take no initiative."
❌ "They are not motivated."
❌ "They do not understand what I mean."
But what if the problem does not lie with your team... but in how you lead, motivate, and challenge them?
💡 People work within the conditions you create.
Ask yourself the following questions:
🔹 Have I shared a clear & tangible vision? Or do I expect them to ‘just get it’?
🔹 Am I giving them enough autonomy? Or am I micromanaging out of fear that things will go wrong and a desire for control?
🔹 Have I created a feedback culture? Or are people silent because they are afraid of making mistakes?
🔹 Are we motivating correctly? Or are we only rewarding output and not growth and initiative?
🔥 A team is a reflection of its leader. If you want change, start with yourself.
