Who is building the business network of the future?
In recent years, we have primarily focused on one question: Why should a professional network be just a collection of profiles?
LinkedIn has taught the world how to connect professionals digitally. But in my opinion, the next step is about something else. It's not just about who you are, but: Are you who you say you are? What is your business authority? Who do you actually want to be connected with?
Can you trust the person or organization behind a profile? And can a digital introduction hold the same value as a personal introduction? That is a fundamentally different way of looking at a professional network. Over the past five years, we at PUT-IT-ON have developed a completely unique platform with this thought in mind. Not a copy of LinkedIn. Not a mass social media platform. But a curated digital environment where identity, business reputation, visibility, and high-quality connections are central. And that is precisely where an interesting development begins for me.
Because who today already has millions of business relationships, digital infrastructure, identity solutions, cybersecurity, communication channels, and an enormous existing ecosystem? It's not necessarily the classic social media companies. It’s actually the large technology, telecom, and enterprise organizations. Just imagine if such an organization not only owns the infrastructure behind digital communication but also a premium environment where entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and organizations can visibly find, trust, and connect with each other for business. Then something different than a network emerges.
Then a digital business infrastructure layer emerges. And maybe that’s where the next generation of professional networks comes from. At PUT-IT-ON, we have built one answer to that thought over the past few years. Now I'm particularly curious about one thing:
Who sees the same development? Because sometimes you build something because you believe it needs to exist. And sometimes you only later discover which organization is actually perfectly positioned to take it to the next level. PUT-IT-ON — Authority as a Service.
