I used to believe: 'Why would you want more? You already have everything.'
And to be honest? It sounded spiritual. Especially coming from gratitude and humility. Being content with what you have. Until one day I realized that I was using that phrase… 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲. Not out of gratitude, but from a fear of asking more of myself. The eye-opener? I saw women around me who also thought that 'wanting more' equated to greed. But they did long for more freedom. More space for themselves without having to give up other things. And more fulfillment. And that is allowed. It wasn’t easy, because I struggled with guilt. And that holds you back immensely. I had to find the courage to answer the next essential question. Who was I to want more than this? So I kept on peeling away the wrappers that were holding me back. Everything that kept me from expressing who I truly am without exceptions. Today I live in gratitude and fulfillment, and I help others do the same. Not as if it’s not your nature. It is your nature. If there is one thing I have learned, it is this: 👉 Being grateful doesn’t exclude growth, it is the foundation of it. You can be thankful for what is, and stay true to what wants to emerge through you. What belief did you have to let go of to take your desire seriously?
