Uganda Creative Woman & Clock your Skills
Uganda 🇺🇬 Working over the next few weeks with fellow CLOCK Sector Experts on an inspiring online CLOCK Your Skills project with 20 young women living in Uganda and working in their creative industries. 🇺🇬
The first sessions have already taken place, and I feel truly grateful to be part of this journey. 🌍
Together, we are exploring how invisible skills become visible and valued through storytelling, reflection and shared experiences. 🌳
During my taster session, I spoke openly about my own creative journey, from theatre and music to visual art, mentoring young talent and making a statement towards the creative sector and health.
I also shared why I believe Art & all skill we use is about much more than creating it. For me it is about finding your voice, creating impact and helping others discover their potential.
And this is what CLOCK is. It’s an international Community with Experts from the creative Industry, the program is based on 3 Skill Sets •Creative Practise, •Sharing Knowledge & Skills, •Social Development.
From Level 1 (Clock Explorer) towards 5.
Level 7 - Master as Sector Expert until level 8 ( Industry Champion -PhD )
One of the most meaningful moments came from our conversation about success.
Success has many different faces… It all comes down to how you define it yourself.
I shared honestly that I cannot fully imagine the realities of living and working in Uganda.
I can only speak from my own experiences, while listening with curiosity and respect to theirs. ❤️
What inspired me most was meeting these remarkable women, each working in different creative fields, film, theatre, artist management, visual arts, storytelling, community arts and more. Despite our different cultures and contexts, we share the same passion: using our Art & creativity and more to make a difference.
