'Tis as it is

'Tis as it is.
A phrase I always say when life gets tough.

When I heard that I had metastatic melanoma, this phrase suddenly took on a different weight. Heavier. More honest. Deeper.

From that moment on, I decided to do things differently.
No more easy path. No excuses. No elevator, but the stairs.
Action.

Now I am literally climbing mountains for my project: Seven Summits for Life.
Along the way, that has already saved a life.

What I particularly want:
To show my children and everyone who wants to hear what perseverance truly means.
That you are stronger than you think.
That the road only stops when you stop.
And that setbacks become opportunities... if you decide not to give up.

Life isn’t always fair.
But what do you do with it?
That changes everything. 💪
