Dutch space exploration strengthened with the Netherlands Space Agency

Dutch space industry strengthened with the Netherlands Space Agency
The Dutch space industry is strengthened with the Netherlands Space Agency.
During the Amsterdam Space Symposium, the Netherlands Space Office was officially transformed into the Netherlands Space Agency - NLSA. This fulfills the ambition to give the Dutch space organization a stronger international profile.
'Space has grown into essential infrastructure for communication, navigation, safety, and climate issues. With political support for an ambitious Long-term Space Agenda and increased commitment during the ESA ministerial conference in 2025, the Netherlands explicitly positions space as a strategic priority'.
The Netherlands Space Agency connects space technology and satellite data to societal and economic challenges. With the launch of www.nlsa.nl — including a renewed visual identity — expertise is made more accessible for partners, knowledge institutions, and businesses.
It is a positive development that our country will now be represented with an agency as a full partner within the international space sector. An important step in strengthening Dutch and European autonomy in the space domain.
