Is today the day you begin to be ‘in’?

What time does today begin?
You don't always have to be 'online'
Date: May 18, 2026

Have you ever wondered how often you are already tired before the day has even properly started? How you wake up with a head that immediately starts spinning? Thinking about everything you have to do, arrange, remember, and especially not forget.

The alarm goes off and you think: NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Actually, you just want to do nothing.

In the train, you mindlessly eat a cheese sandwich while getting irritated by a woman who is loudly talking on the phone, making everyone in the carriage listen in on her conversation. You notice that you immediately have a judgment ready. As if she is personally responsible for your mood today. Meanwhile, you look outside, half awake, half absent, while your thoughts are already running ahead to the meeting you have to attend soon.

Pffff… no desire.
The day drags on and before you know it, you’re rushing to catch the train home at half past five. You're hungry, have a headache, and have actually had way too much coffee to keep yourself upright. At the station, you quickly buy a bag of candy, just because you’re tired and need something. By the time you get home, that bag is empty and you only feel more restless.

And then that evening still has to begin.
When you finally lie down in bed later that night, you notice that your mind still won't stop. You think about that project that needs to be done by tomorrow, about everything you haven't done yet, and how tired you really are. At one o'clock in the morning, you still grab your laptop to 'quickly' finish something, while deep down you know you're overworking yourself. Two hours later, you crawl back into bed exhausted, and a few hours later the alarm goes off again.
Perhaps the exhaustion comes not only from everything you do, but mainly from the fact that you are always 'on'. That you are constantly busy with everything and everyone around you, except yourself. That you try to be everywhere at once and only realize how tired you are when it finally becomes quiet.
Take good care of yourself, for you are the one you will spend the rest of your life with.

Give it a try. Maybe tomorrow.
