A MILITARY PERSON. TWO PSYCHOLOGISTS.

On paper, a special combination. In practice, perhaps exactly what is needed.

Robin Kouwenberg and Vincent Cornelissen from The Brain Office share their scientific knowledge about behavior, mental resilience, and organizations.

I draw lessons from life and military practice. About what happens to people when plans change, pressure increases, and setbacks are no longer theory, but reality.

And the realization that being strong doesn't mean you have to carry everything alone.

Theory meets practice. Head meets heart. Resilience meets capacity.

What happens when you bring those worlds together?

When you not only talk about recovering from setbacks, but also investigate what a person, a team, and an organization need to stand firm when it really gets tough?

That's exactly what we are currently working on.

And believe me...

This is not a story where you just sit back and listen. It needs to resonate, provoke thought, and actually motivate people to take action.

The general was just the beginning. Today we will continue building during a new brainstorming session.

The first outlines are becoming visible. We will keep the core just outside the spotlight for a little while longer.

But what is coming is not just about getting back up.

It's about what is needed to be able to stand firm.

To be continued...
