Viewing a house can sometimes feel like a "first date".

Viewing a house is sometimes like a "first date".

You reviewed the photos in advance.

Expectations are running high.

You may even have already formed a bit of an impression of it.

And then the front door opens.

The first impression is good.

The living room looks cozy.

I like the kitchen. And the garden... that completes the picture.

This could very well be something!

But then something special happens.

One of them walks straight to the garden.

The other person opens all the kitchen cabinets.

Number three is already standing in the bedroom, figuring out where the bed should go.

Everyone views the same house, but sees something different.

That's one of the interesting things about my profession.

You don't just sell bricks, rooms and square meters.

You help people discover whether a house fits the life they envision for themselves.

And sometimes it sits in something very small.

A place where you can calmly drink coffee in the morning.

Space for the children.

Or just a little corner where you can finally read your book without anyone asking where the remote control is.

You can present a house beautifully and neatly lay out all the facts.

But ultimately, a person must be able to see themselves living there.

And you can't enforce that.

You can only open the door and give people the space to discover their own story.

**When do you actually know you've found a house?**

If everything checks out on paper, or when you've already started unconsciously wondering where to put the Christmas tree?**
