An honored occasion to present Marshall Island Certificate of Commendation

An honored occasion to present Marshall Island Certificate of Commendation (CoC) to M/V AS NINA master, officers, crew and ship managers Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management, in Hamburg. We honored the master, officers and crew who maintained the highest tradition at sea by providing rescue service to 66 persons in distress on a small craft in the Mediterranean.
All persons were successfully transferred on board AS NINA and provided with food and water. Do note that the vessel complements, 22 crew, increased by 300%. The ship's master, Plamen Bogdanov, faced the challenge of a transfer at sea again, first 40 persons and later the remaining 26 persons to smaller vessels. Successful transfer at sea between vessels, supported by clear communication, instructions and command. Senior staff members MV AS NINA have been working together since they graduated from the maritime academy will rely on each other without doubt.
Together with colleague, Mrs. Corinna Engel, the CoC was handed over to Deyan Uzunov vessel manager on behalf of Captain Plamen Bogdanov. Marcel Moskalik received the CoC as head of HQSE at Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management Ship Management, Hamburg. Pictures taken at the rooftop of the Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management office were joined by Danylo Myachyn and Valentin Pisau. Well done, Captain Palmen Bogdanov, officers and crew. A sincere appreciation for this outstanding display of seamanship in a successful rescue and maintaining one of the longest standing traditions at sea.
