Symbolism & Art 5 years Partnership
Symbolism & Art
Yesterday was the second licensing day of the year 2025-2026 for Blauwprint in Breda, in the historic Water Tower where they are located. A day to celebrate.
I have been connected with Kim Merema, her method, and a group of inspiring coaches for over 5 years. This connection has brought me, both personally and professionally, depth, growth, and development.
Even the trip to Mallorca brought so much movement in my being as a person and artist.
Om dit moment te markeren, maakte ik voor Kim een kunstwerk met de titel:
Mytilus edulis — The Blue Mussel
An intuitive work built from symbolic elements:
• the mussel as bedding and protection
• copper as a conductor of connection
• natural gemstone beads in blue and green
• and one zirconia, surrounded by gold, as a symbol of value and clarity
I look back on a day where connection, recognition, and the celebration of life were central. I am curious to see what Kim Merema will find in it… because that is exactly what it is about: telling your own story in what art evokes and narrates for you.
