Most people do not understand that before the year 2030 #AI will pass the Turing Test, meaning that they have human level intelligence
Most people do not understand that before the year 2030 #AI will pass the Turing Test, meaning that they have human level intelligence, and that #AI after 2030 will be smarter that all humans combined.
And very few people can envision what the consequences are for the governance of societies.
I have addressed this issue in my emeritate speech on September, 11th, 2024: 'The Showdown of Society: Will #AI lead to real freedom?'
I am optimistic as human beings may be intelligent, but humanity has proved to be not smart enough to develop a system to govern societies without wars, in harmony with nature, and with wellbeing of all humans and other life on earth. Leave this to #AI, it will lead to real freedom.
