The 991-generation 911 GT3 arrived in 2013. For the first time, the GT3 was available only with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (PDK). 

Rear-wheel steering was a new feature included as standard, offering benefits in both outright performance and in day-to-day driveability. 

Other performance enhancements included an increased power output of 475 PS from the 3.8-litre boxer engine.
