Great conversation last night with the World Boxing Council (WBC) President, Mauricio Sulaiman and the chairman of England Boxing Ltd, Richard Brooke.
Boxing is a sport that excites and engages millions across the world. We all share a passion for boxing and agreed that it is important to support its development at every level, from grassroots and recreational, to the high performance Olympic style, and all the way to pro level. WBC is a prominent professional boxing governing body that recognizes the importance of boxing’s Olympic inclusion. World Boxing and England Boxing understand the importance of the opportunities that pro boxing offers for the boxers. Open and close cooperation is important between all governing bodies to ensure a bright future for the sport we love.
I’m excited to take our cooperation further with President Sulaiman and WBC.
