During my visit to Croatia, I had the opportunity to meet with the representatives of eight Balkan National Boxing Federations to discuss
World Boxingโs ongoing efforts to secure boxingโs place in the Olympic Movement, the development of our sport in the region, and its global future.
This important gathering took place in Zagreb at the invitation of Croatian Boxing Federation President Bono Bosniak.
I am grateful to the National Boxing Federations of Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Slovenia for their open dialogue and shared commitment to our sport. These discussions reinforced my confidence in our future cooperation and the strength of the boxing community in the region.
My gratitude to Bono Bosniak for hosting this significant meeting, as well as to World Boxing Executive Board member Michael Muller and European Boxing interim working group chairman Lars Brovil for their invaluable expertise and dedication to our mission.
